A big underground shared nest ?
Colony nesting in mound of compacted mud, tons of willow in bloom in the swamp. One landed on my daughters hand, very friendly.
Ground bees en masse in the middle of a road, hence injuries.

Son abejas muy pequeñas y tienen su nido debajo de la tierra.
Ground bees - smaller than the normal Apis
On the Lodge grounds
Bigger than all the bees that I know. Apparently the make their nest in ground.
Active nest of stingless bees, located inside a tree trunk at 3.5 meters from the ground. (JC9)
nest entrance made with wax emerging from a tree trunk, around 7 meters above the ground (JC10)
The nest substrate looks to be an abandoned nest of termites felt to the ground. Plants grew on it and 50 cm far there is a bullet ant nest. Aggressive behaviour only in case of heavy disturbance. Red and yellow resin applied on the nest entrance after the disturbance (pic1) (we observed the resin few days later we spotted the nest for the first time pic2). (M6)
Nest was in steeply sloped ground sheltered by tree roots, with horizontal entrance
