What source do they need for this?
it is one of the most common sspp hybrids in turtles.
In many cases this hybridization is very clear (we mark them as Trachemys scripta) but we could mark them as hybrid, this can help a lot to collect the different phenotypic characteristics they have. Thank you.

our preference is not to handle hybrids by altering the taxonomy which is difficult to manage but by (a) IDing the observation to the nearest node (e.g. Species Trachemys scripta) and then using the hybrid name observation field to track tag the obs so that people can search for it or map it etc.
You'll want to add a reliable source for this @saber_animal. Please note that a reptiles curator would have to make this change.
