A juvenile and adult active at the end of a 104 degree day.
Most of the mature trees in the 2nd (scenery) image are cottonwoods, mixed with a few Goodding Willows.
This tree is the only species of its kind found nearby. A lot animal activity in it. Soil around it is dry. About 4 ft. tall.
Short tree full of thorns. Very small leaves. On dry soil.
The day was very sunny with a temperature around 68°F. Plant was surrounded by other plants in an area that is still under construction. Soil seemed very dry.
This was observed in a 77° F weather. It was surrounded by mostly buffalo grass and is about 3ft tall.
Temperature lately has fallen between 50 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit. The last 2 days have been sunny and the week before was rainy.
Plant is isolated. Measures about 3 feet tall with about 8 branches from its base. Plant has thorn-tipped branches of various lengths. Plant appeared to have a gray-blue color. Small leaves were scattered on the branches of the plant, but were scarce. No flowers or fruit were visible. The weather was sunny about 60 degrees F.

Cloudy, constant wind. Rained the day before so it aaa pretty wet. Was found in a park.
