Interesting leaf form that is presumably a response to shade, although I can’t recall seeing leaves this large or distinctly lobed on Q. agrifolia before.
I suppose there’s greater resemblance to Quercus x ganderi (agrilfolia x kelloggii), but this is significantly lower elevation than I’d expect to see kelloggii influence, which is only known from older observations at 4200’+ in the Santa Ana Mountains
