There is a lot of this lovely plant and this location.
Dominant shrub on the side-slope of this low ridge, which was burnt in 2013. The ridge crest was dominated by Allocasuarina nana, recovering very poorly from the long overdue burn (much of it senescent or dead at the time), but the side slope has a belt of Phebalium and below that a belt of Kunzea parvifolia, perhaps on even shallower soil. Phebalium appears to have resprouted post-fire, going on the large size of the plants (<1m, bushy) compared with the very much smaller Kunzea seedlings.
