Extremely docile and non-aggressive. Had to stop the neighbors five year old from bothering it - it reacted to her poking and trying to pick it up by calmly slithering away. Some minutes Later watched it slithering at a nice speed across the lawn, so it didn’t appear to be injured, just docile. I’m not a snake expert - I immediately thought corn snake because of the color and that’s what iNaturalist suggested first too, but sounds like others ID as banded water snake. Can provide video of movement if that would help.
