Approximately 6 popping around the front yard, following me as I garden. I think they are nesting in a spiky bush in the front yard. Close as I could get sorry.
Updated 2021 - new nests this year in the standard rose bushes... not sure how I am going to prune this year.
2 seen eating grass seeds at the edge of a path.
Feathers with different shades of brown in a distinct pattern. Orange legs and feet and a fairly long, flat black beak. Found swimming in a pond.
