Alpine, 2000m, near a small tarn
Found in the morning inside my light trap.
The overall rusty red colour with next to invisible dark orbicular and reniform spots, plus dark indistinct st line along with the very light greyish
terminal area makes this moth look much like Abagrotis nefascia as seen here: http://mothphotographersgroup.msstate.edu/species.php?hodges=11024,
https://bugguide.net/node/view/854230, & https://search.museums.ualberta.ca/g/2-5091
Note: I've over brightened and sharpened the last image to highlight the indistinct wing markings.
Only visible when it was moving, it blended in well with the gray of the limestone barrens.
