Res Walk, 9/29/22

I am an environmental studies major, so I was actually only able to walk for a half hour because I have a conference to attend today! I was able to walk the Res on my way home, and found the species attached to this journal entry. Today's weather is 60 degrees Fahrenheit and sunny, and there was very little wind so the Res water itself was very glass-like. The surrounding environment is very typical of the woods found in the North East, and was largely overgrown with medium sized leafed-plants. Although there seemed to be lots of different plants and organisms closer to the ground, the trees looked as though they only were a few different species. I really enjoyed spending my morning in this way and I'm very lucky to live so close to the beautiful nature at the Res!
