Chestnut Hill Reservoir
I began my nature walk at around 2:50 pm. The weather outside was partly cloudy and about 55 degrees Fahrenheit. I started by walking down the left side of Chestnut Hill Driveway. Pretty early into my walk, I came across a very large mushroom. Even though the theme of this nature was plants, this mushroom just really stood out amongst all the surrounding plants. I continued to walk down this road until I ended up at the Chestnut Hill Reservation. I found a few different plant species here. I was surprised by the variety of leaf shapes and plant sizes in the area. From the Chestnut Hill Reservation, I walked onto the reservoir trail. I found a few more plants that stood out, most notably the Staghorn Sumac which was much taller than the other plants, with distinct leaves.
