I was in my room when I heard some chirping. I looked out the window just in time to see a Pileated Woodpecker fly away and right behind it, nothing but a Northern Mockingbird. It looked like the Pileated Woodpecker had been scared off.

I was out walking in the field behind my house following the rushing water in my creek that was moving very fast for a little creek. I was over at the mouth of it, when I saw a female Ruby-throated Hummingbird looking for flowers to drink out of above a roaring creek and in late September in West Virginia. P.S. After that I happened to see a great blue heron fly over the river.
