If this isn't already a feature iNaturalist should add a feature where when comparing images while IDing an observation you can overlay the two images onto each other and adjust their opacity. If this is already a feature, where is it?

I am not aware of such a feature in iNaturalist.

There are free image-processing programs such as GIMP where you can load multiple images as separate layers, and then adjust the transparency/opacity of the layers.

I like to have the images side-by-side, and glance back-and-forth between the images to compare.
