Caught a baby snook with a cast net and released him. I believe it is a snook because of the distinct black line laterally across the body as well as its long thin shape with the sloping forehead.

The plant is the small green one with round leaves in the center of the photo. iNaturalist suggested that it was a type of legume but it doesn’t seem like a flowering plant.

Organism was growing in mulch next to a tree. Both were in an urban environment. Organism is a small white/brown mushroom with sap secreting from the stem.
