I am an elementary school teacher with a huge passion for all things nature and wildlife photography. I am a certified Hike Ontario leader. I have led many public walks on various interpretive nature themes. I have also been involved as a Taxon leader for many insect surveys across Ontario; from Algonquin Park to Murphy's Point Provincial Park, to the Greater Toronto Area. I have led nature events and surveys in High Park, Carden Alvar, Rouge National Urban Park, Minesing Swamp, and with the Nature Conservancy. In 2019, I completed the Ontario Master Naturalist Program through Lakehead Univerisity, and the TRCA Naturalist certificate Level I, currently wrapping Level II. I am an active bird patroller with FLAP monitoring migratory bird-window collisions in the Toronto area and will be participating in the 2021 Ontario Breeding Atlas as a principal atlasser in Markam, Ontario.

I currently have 2500+ research-grade species observations on iNaturalist with a lifetime goal of reaching 10,000 species.

I have already reached 10, 000 identifications and closing in on 10,000 observations.
