Started around June 2021 and still going strong!

Hello, my name is Dominic, interests and hobbies include rockhounding, mycology, biology, geology, paleontology, drawing, fish-keeping, coin collecting, and an assortment of other -ologies and collections. Moved to Oneonta for college but had lived in Westchester previously, so the majority of my older observations are from there. My major is Earth Science with a minor in biology. I absolutely love iNat and am always open to talk about anything, my private messages are available if anyone has any questions, concerns, or just want to talk.

Recently got a camera, I'll be using it mainly for mushrooms, slime molds, insects, arachnids, and likely plants as well; it is an Olympus Tough TG-6. Of course I will still have a plethora of pictures taken with my phone (Samsung Galaxy J7 Star) but am trying to make more observations on my cameras.

Mainly observing mushrooms and insects but won't pass on photographing other kingdoms (especially protozoans).
