PhD in freshwater community ecology. My current research focuses on aquatic community ecology in riverine rock pools, with a focus on predators of mosquito larvae such as dragonfly nymphs and aquatic beetles. See my lists for some of the taxa I've published research on.

My taxonomic expertise includes those groups, as well as aquatic macroinvertebrates in general, although I dabble in insects as a whole and herps for fun.

I try to contribute as much as I can to IDs within my expertise (especially Odonate nymphs, because relatively few people in the community know how). That said, I do make mistakes, so please correct me! I am always happy to learn more.
