Previous research includes examining effects of historic land use and current management practices on herps at species-specific and assemblage scales in multiple systems, long-term monitoring of prairie snake communities and associated population modeling, box turtle physiology, thermal ecology, and translocation strategies, and integrated population modeling of Golden-winged Warbler. Currently working on a multi-taxa study to determine the viability of solar arrays as wildlife habitat under a variety of management regimes.
