Grew up in the woods of Northern Minnesota. Dad always used to help us catch flies and find spiders to feed them to...been interested in bugs, animals, funguses, and mosses and woods/bush ever since. I've especially loved bats since I was little and did a bat wildlife rehab course in Texas after uni. Been in NZ since 2007 and LOVE living in Beach Haven with all the awesome bush tracks around. Love taking my toddler out for adventures & bug hunts in the bush (she's super into worms at the moment). Glad to have a use for all my odd nature pics now. :)
