Hello! I work as the State Botanist for the Missouri Department of Conservation. A large component of my job is to track and document populations of rare plants for the Missouri Natural Heritage Program. I use iNaturalist to learn more about recent discoveries of plants listed as Species of Conservation Concern in Missouri.

I'm also the current President of the Missouri Native Plant Society and enjoy interacting on iNaturalist with others that are interested in native plants and contribute to our Missouri Botanist Big Year Project.
