I am the communication Officer at Oyster Harbour Catchment Group (OHCG) which has now been operating for 26 years. We are an incorporated community-based, volunteer organisation sparked into action by the community’s desire to protect and rehabilitate the Oyster Harbour, and its major tributaries the Kalgan River and King River. Since then we’ve expanded our activities, focusing on preserving the catchments natural assets and environment for conservation, as well as supporting land managers to adopt best practice and farm for the future.
