I'm a park ranger supervisor on Pikes Peak. I'm trying to gain an understanding of the species along our road to the summit. The rise in elevation encompasses multiple life zones, so lots to observe and learn about. Edwin James, the first one to record his journey to the summit and driven by curiosity in alpine plants, is my hero!

I used to work at Eisenhower State Park as a Park Ranger, and then became a Texas Master Naturalist (txmn.org) when I lived in Austin.
