I spend as much time as I can in the woods looking for interesting fungi and slime molds.

I've been a member of a few mycological groups, most recently the Boston Mycological Club, though it's the Western Pennsylvania Mushroom Club I have to thank for most of my mycological education. I love that strange little worlds are all around us and all we have to do is look. I'm originally from Pittsburgh and now I live near Providence, R.I. I often post about my finds on my Twitter account, @weirdstrug.
