I am currently a PhD student in the Weber Lab at the University of Michigan (formerly at Michigan State University). My research leverages anatomy, ecology, and evolutionary biology to explore the functional implications of trichome diversity in Loasaceae.

My passion for plants runs deep, starting with a childhood spent exploring the forest surrounding my family’s farm in upstate New York. As a scientist, I am broadly interested in the function and diversification of traits that mediate interactions between plants and other organisms.
