I live on Nantucket, MA, in the warmer months and Sanibel, FL, in the winter months. I also spend time visiting family in Boulder, CO; San Francisco, CA; Charlottesville, VA; and Boothbay Harbor, ME. I'm experienced as a birder and a bird photographer. Now I'm becoming acquainted with the plant kingdom. On Nantucket, my favorite nature organizations are NCF (Nantucket Conservation Foundation), MMA (Maria Mitchell Association), and LLNF (Linda Loring Nature Foundation). On Sanibel, I volunteer with Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge and SCCF (Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation).
