I'm a Park Interpreter at Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park, Centre Block, in southwest Saskatchewan, Canada. I love plants, fungi, moss, lichen, pond dipping, and going on hikes or just a walk around the lake. I'm slowly, slowly growing my knowledge base, exploring the Hills, my in-laws' nearby farm, and my own backyard.

I'm hoping to expand my knowledge of moss, lichen, and fungi, as well as do a little more birding--I'm abysmal at birds of prey, and we have tons of them around here.

Just for fun, I'm beginning to dip my toe into traditional herbalism, trying to make time for nature journaling, and hiking more trails, all while chasing my toddler around.
