• The Feather Atlas
This is a very helpful resource for those living in the United States.
• Jake's Bones
This website was created by a young naturalist and provides a good amount of info on animals found in Europe, but especially those in the UK.
• Avian Osteology
This is pretty much one of the best bird bone resources out there, that I know of. Clear pictures are useful for comparison, and the site is well cited.

The Decaying, Dead, and Decomposers

First Post

This project was made to record the things that feed on decaying biomass-- that is, anything that once was alive and is no longer-- and to record dead organisms themselves.

I hope that this project becomes something useful, as dead logs, carrion, and the like really do provide food and shelter for many diverse organisms. Because this project covers such a broad range of niche interests, everyone's contributions will be helpful.
