I was born in Taiyuan city of northern China. I became a naturalist from age 5 when I started collecting insect for 10+ years, until high school I paid more attention on identifying wild plant. All these helped me killing long and vacant childhood in the northern ville. Then I grew up a bit, I studied sphingolipid metabolism of Arabidopsis as a undergrad in Sun Yat-sen Univeristy, and I did some evolution of E.coli aging in Univ. California San Diego as a grad student. I'm currently working as a biology educator in a highschool of Hainan, China. Otherwise i'm just another mundane citizen :D
