I’m a Biological Sciences major at Cornell (class of 2022) concentrating in biodiversity and systematics. I’m interested in developing methods for the use of museum specimens in genomics research. I work with others to apply these methods to the Lovette Lab’s ongoing study of oriole hybridization in the Great Plains. I strongly believe in the value of museum specimens and previously worked in the CUMV as a collections assistant. My research interests include taxonomy, statistical methods in phylogenomics, population genetics, and sequence alignment.
