I have always been in interested in nature; ever since TV series like "The Wild Kingdom" in the 1960s. I now live on a lifestyle block on the Canterbury Plains where I have been planting native species for the last decade. Through my my work on the LEARNZ project, I look for opportunities to encourage teachers and learners in New Zealand schools to also use iNaturalistNZ.
