I'm just a high schooler from San Francisco trying to learn more about the natural world! I have a particular interest in marine inverts, but I'm willing to learn about all forms of life (ameteur)!
I guess I'm pretty good at IDing crabs, hermit crabs etc. (no lobsters or shrimp) but looking to get better IDing birds and lizards.
Occasionally, I'll give observations from the "unknown" category general IDs; though I only do this with continental west coast observations.
I don't observe anything in particular - just organisms I find interesting. I use an iPhone 13 camera, a GoPro for underwater pictures and a tiny "magnifying glass" that is surprisingly useful when taking closeups of flowers. I'm trying to obtain an actual camera soon, so I'll be able to take photos of birds :)
Trying to record all specimens of Hairy Brackenfern from this area: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations?nelat=37.7397154605172&nelng=-122.44256264548126&swlat=37.737399194630825&swlng=-122.44413978438202&taxon_id=52684&view=observers
I know that might not be possible, but that is an extremely tiny area.
And lastly - thanks to everyone who helps correct my IDs!
