Brown-beige color all around, legs and body look spotted or striped. Greenish eyes at the top of the carapace, line down the center of the shell. Has a "dot" in the middle of the back. Little whitish hairs on the legs. About 1.5" wide. Was extracted from oyster cluster on red mangrove roots.

Small to medium in size, 25-75mm. Largest oyster still has mangrove root stuck to it. Smallest oyster has half of its shell missing. Some purpley colors on them, irridescence, had algae stuck to them. Were growing on a red mangrove root in an intertidal zone.
