Αtergatis roseus (Egg crab)
Αtergatis roseus (Egg crab), πρόκειται για ξενικό είδος που εντοπίστηκε για πρώτη φορά στην Ελλάδα το 2009 και εισήλθε από τη διώρυγα του Σουέζ. Ανήκει στην οικογένεια των Xanthidae με κύριο χαρακτηριστικό τα ζωντανά χρώματα των ειδών της. Η φυσική εξάπλωση του είδους είναι στον Δυτικό Ινδικό Ωκεανό,την Ερυθρά θάλασσα και τη Νότιο Αφρική. Συνήθως βρίσκεται ανάμεσα σε βράχια και κροκάλες στον βυθό.

Atergatis roseus, the rosy egg crab, is a species of reef crab from the family Xanthidae with a natural range extending from the Red Sea to Fiji. It has colonized the eastern Mediterranean by Lessepsian migration through the Suez Canal. The main feature of this crab, like many other species in the family Xanthidae, is its vivid colors.
Atergatis roseus inhabits coral reefs and rocky substrata.
