Amateur generalist in the southeastern ADK park in NY with a healthy interest in moths, other arthropods, and everything else. Intermediate-advanced birder, general lover of ecology, distracted by new taxa constantly.

Very enthusiastic about getting beginners or the accidentally interested into nature appreciation, observation, love and such.

As a professional artist, I rely heavily on my naturalist activities to inspire and and vice versa, my artist eyes help with my pattern finding and aural skills.
