Naomi (she/her). I'm a UCLA computational biology student who likes going outdoors. Mainly into herps and fish, but I just love learning about all the things I see outdoors. If somehow I ever take a picture you like enough that you want to use, please just credit me and let me know, I'd love to check out the article or paper it becomes a part of.

These are some of my favorite observations of mine. Also if you feel like being super duper cool, I would love if you were able to ID one of my non-research grade reptiles + amphibians <3

I'm a bit socially anxious meeting people, but I would like to make more friends who like herpetology, so feel free to reach out if you might be interested in going and finding cool reptiles together.

I've been getting into learning and doing identifications, mostly for reptiles and amphibians of California. I do my best to make sure my IDs are as founded as possible, but if you disagree with anything I've identified, please just let me know. I'm here to learn and have a good time. Also, mostly for my future reference + to review when I'm more knowledgeable, these are any maverick IDs I may have made and these are IDs I have made above the species level.

I recently was shown this iNat geoguessing game and I feel compelled to share it.
