European Plant Galler Faunistics

Records of arthopods (mites, gall wasps, gall midges, aphids, bugs, beetles, sawflies etc.) causing galls on plants.
The purpose is to gather citizen science data on the host relations and the distribution of these fascinating organisms. As a zoological discipline, it's very botanical!
Remember to always give information on the host plant identity. Photos of (or at least notes about) the animals inside galls (presence of larvae, pupue, nymphs etc.) will greatly promote safe identifications and will open your eyes to the great microworld inside these miniature ecosystems. menos ↑
