Diario del proyecto Lost Horse Cr BioBlitz

Hi All, went and checked out one of the possible Blitz sites on Lost Horse Creek yesterday. Things are just starting to get going, but spring is showing it self for sure. Seen Western Red Cedar and Pacific Yew old friends from when I lived in Oregon. It looks like a good area to Blitz.
Next month would be the best time to Blitz, creek could still be high but more plants will be seen. Large animals could be there such as Moose, Black bear, Grizzly bears and Mountian Lions so we need to be heads up. Stay Tuned

Going to Lost Horse tomorrow to see how things are growing and maybe find an orchid or two.

Hi All, Starting a new project near my home in Darby. Its at Lost Horse Creek just north of my place, its an awesome place with buitiful creek and wet meadows that start out down low near the valley floor then climbs nearly strait to the crest of the Bitterroot Range. This makes for Blitzing at different elevations and times of the year, so we can do multiable blitz along the creek and surrounding slopes.
