Orchids of July

Hi All, it's been a good month for orchid hunting and picture taking. The nice thing
is that my job allows me to be able to indulge my interest in orchids and plant photography,
I was able to find some great specimens, three of the Corallorhiza Spotted, Stripped and Mertens.
Also found good specimens of Goodyera oblongifolia one that was just about to bloom and then a bunch that were done blooming, found quit a few Piperia unalascensis in many differnt areas. The corralroots were very prolific in the Garnet Mountains this year, still cant get over the Corallorhiza striata that was growing right at the road edge it was by and far the most butiful one I've ever seen. Still have a few places to check
out, I hope to find some Spiranthes romanzoffiana and or Spiranthes diluvialis well just about any orchid I dont have photos of.
Stay Tuned I will be posting more Orchid Observations, if anyone has a good area to hunt and dont mind sharing with a fellow orchid hunter/conservationist.
