Summer is here, let's make the most of it!
Hi all, Summer is here and whitebark pine habitat is becoming snow-free more and more each day! Time to get out and make some observations of whitebark pine! Your observations of whitebark pine and the species associated with its ecological story are very important for future conservation efforts.

Maybe up north. Down here the snow melted earlier this year due to drought conditions. I was involved in a field trip looking at white bark pine last month.
@ipomopsis Thanks for the note. It's been an unusually cool, wet spring and early summer up here in north central Washington. Whitebark pine terrain is just starting to melt out in the last week or two.
