Another one of those "National Geographic" observations which we were lucky to have. We came around a corner of some rocks and found a lioness with three cubs late in the afternoon resting on a large flat rock. We spent an hour there until it was too dark to take any images. She was a very patient mother with these little ones crawling all over her, biting her tail and her ears, etc. It was very special to see!

FINALLY! an alive spotted salamander! I have been trying to find an alive one for weeks but only found DORS like https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/196703792 this observation. Today was also my last chance to find one, the roads didn’t seem active so I didn’t have much hope but luckily turned this guy up before he got hit

Escaped from some of the neighbours, who didn't care about him, was living as a free bird for a couple of weeks near our territory and was fed by my grandma, still was not in captivity. Was caught (not easy) afterwards and taken in a village nearby to a person who has more chickens.
