Dark Picket-boring aphid wasp (~7mm in length) with a black head, black thorax and black abdomen. It was clearly parasitized by some sort of fungi.
The mandibles are yellow with a dark outline, the first articles of the antennas are white. The first pair of legs has black femurs while the tibias and tarsus are orange. The second pair of legs has black femurs, orange tibias with a black ring in the middle and orange tarsus.The last pair of legs has black femurs, the tibias start orange but quickly turns into black while the tarsus are black.

The genus Passaloecus is very difficult to identify, this wasp has some defining traits like the presence of a scrobal sulcus, as well as a mesaupleuraulus and a hypersternaulus. It also has a not very distinct dorsal sulcus. Two longitudinal grooves are present at the start of the scutum. There is also a very subtle spike between the antennas.
