Growing standing dead hemlock trunk (possibly white pine); distinct individual shelves; caps with thick matted hairs, finely feathered margin; open maze pores, showing tooth-like in places, @7 mm deep.
Spores boring, smooth, ovate, inamyloid, 5.2 x 3.8 um, Q=1.4.
