Descripción

T. gibbosa or T. "aesculi". They differ definitively in the size of their spores.......which I did not measure.......because I'm a naturalist, not a mycologist. There is apparently some nomenclatural problems with the species T. "aesculi" at the moment. But its one of the two. Large mushroom nearly a foot across growing on a fallen rotting log. Top and bottom views showing the pore surface. Smaller specimens sprouting from the same log as well.
