A13 banded juvenile BCNH hatched this year at Illinois' largest known rookery of BCNH (state-endangered) at Lincoln Park Zoo, just inside seasonally closed Pritzger Family Children's Zoo section of Chicago's Lincoln Park Zoo.

Banded A11 wild juvenile Black-crowned Night-Heron hatched 2022 at the unusually large rookery of this state-endangered bird within Chicago's Lincoln Park Zoo. @urbanwildlifeinstitute

Report banded BCNH juveniles in Chicago area/region. BCNH tend to disperse to the north, northwest before migration.
