Fairly abundant in one area.
North-facing slope ca. 75' above French Creek. Numerous trees blown down and others with broken tops. The majority of this damage appears to have occurred during the past year. The canopy is dominated by American Beech (Fagus grandifolia) and species of Hickory (Carya). Much of the forest floor is dominated by a variety of native forbs.
