Subadult female DOR on FM 1376. Recent bird meal (appears to be a Northern Cardinal, common in area). Rattle removed, head and neck appears more damaged than expected.

Diamondbacks are uncommon in this area. This is the first one I have seen in 10 years in this immediate area. I live one mile away. A neighbor on Walnut Grove Road showed me a picture of one at #38 Walnut Grove from about 20 years ago.
