Found under Ohia (M. polymorpha) in moss and near Cibotium among other native plants.
Spores a pointed rhomboid sort of shape, hyaline.

Q = (1.1) 1.2 - 1.3 (1.4) ; N = 15
Me = 7.1 × 5.8 µm ; Qe = 1.2
Basidia with relatively pronounced slightly in-turned sterigmata.

N = 10
clamps infrequent but present. Forgot to measure the widths of the generative hyphae, but can do so if this is ever a candidate for description.
Size: 2cm. KOH: lime/yellow. Notes: No apothecia, fibrils emerging from lobe edges.
Size: 4cm across. 1-3mm lobes. KOH: Neg. Notes: No apothecia, subtle pruina on lobes, marginal paler lobules(?) Possibly a Pannaria sp.
Waxy tuberculate crust on Ohia - M. polymorpha. Spreading up to 30cm, in well decayed and damp wood, found when flipping a chunk of wood.
On Dicranopteris linearis. Taste slowly becoming somewhat bitter.
Tenative ID. On one of the following trees - Ohia, Koa, Strawberry guava.
Short spines around 1mm long clustered, a somewhat gelatinous feel to them. Fruitbody too small for KOH test.
On hardwood fallen on the beach. Park. Spores 3.7-4.9 x 2.4-3.7 um with one drop. Skeletocystidia with incrustations towards tip. Double clamp connection seen. After being wet it released the most wonderful sweet intoxicating fungal smell. Basidia 20.9 x 4.9 um. Crust is made of teeth with various shapes.
Leucoagaricus or an Amanita sect. roanoakensis?
UV = Slight blue on the gills
KOH = Neg.
Odor mild, terrestrial, lacking habitat notes but found along a trail with Koa, Ohia, Strawberry guava forests.
on decaying wood in Strawberry guava, Karaka nut, Ohia and Koa dominant forest.
UV = Neg
Odor and taste mild,
KOH = slowly becoming a faded vinaceous color, a distinct reaction.
Smooth stipe, lacking caulocystidia.
Spores elliptic, with somewhat truncated germ pore, thick walled, with one or two droplets,
8-9um x 5-6um
Basidia clavate,
6-11um wide.
Cheilos and pleurocystidia vesicular, large, sizes ranging widely.
Cheilos between 22-75um long,
I did not look hard or observe pleurocystidia.
Did not take ample measurements of cystidia, so put less weight on those for ID determination.

Size (of collection): 5.5cm across. KOH: Neg. Notes: Dense, thin blackish brown frilly lobes. Small apothecia present.
