It was exciting to see seven Brown Pelicans at North Beach today! Even seeing one in this area is unusual. We watched them landing on the top of a mostly submerged boulder, then they rested and preened, while one swam around the boulder. It looks like one adult at the left with a white head, and I think others are juveniles.
