I know it’s extremely unlikely (almost impossible) and I’m leaning toward a Northern waterthrush, but I need someone to confirm that so I’ve put this as the ID to get ears on it. Automated recording, filtered, recorded in pine tree stand near/in a wetland
Sounds a bit like a Kirtland's warbler but the audio is low quality. I suspect it is a Northern waterthrush based on the habit. I just want to confirm because I am not confident in this one.
Found this little fledgling, alone in the forest. He's pretty disheveled and I really can't say what species he is.
Probably Lithobates sylvatica
