I didn't realise this species occurred in the northern Gulf St Vincent, and I can't see any records this far up here apart from a 1971 museum specimen. Regardless, there appears to be a very healthy population living in the tidal debris along the road out to Wills Creek, with at least a couple dozen individuals seen over ~20 minutes, eight of which I've added observations of.
Small juvenile (?) snake - approx 40-50cm long.
