A species of puffball with no identifying stem, and fruiting body is hollow, fragile and yet holds shape. smooth texture on outside, with generally the same color covering body until top of the cap with a nearly 1/2 inch diameter dark brown tip, with a raised node at the center, and outer edge of the tip is highlighted in light cream/yellow ring..
Growing in dirt near cedar trees, straight from the ground, very little leaf litter near by. It rained recently, cloudy weather.
